The Hotel Allen has approximately 60 rooms, catering for the budget motel/hotel rooms to self-contained apartments. All motel/hotel rooms have ensuites, air conditioning, TV with Austar, bar fridges and tea & coffee making facilities. With the one bedroom apartments being self-contained with a laundry, full kitchen facilities, ensuite and lounge room. For guests to relax and unwind there is a swimming pool, two bars to enjoy a cold beverage, a beer garden to watch your favourite sport, a restaurant to enjoy a meal and a gaming lounge. The Hotel Allen is a 2 minute stroll to the popular Strand Esplanade and a 10 minute walk to the CBD and Flinders Mall. The Hotel is also surrounded by restaurants, cafes, takeaway stores, local shopping centres and the beautiful Queens Gardens all within easy walking distance. |

This is a one bedroom self-contained apartment. It contains a queen size bed in the bedroom and a double sofa lounge in the living area. Also a bathroom with laundry facilites, full kitchen, TV (free-to-air programming only) and air conditioning Rates are for 4 people. • Townsville is one of the main gateways to the Great Barrier Reef where fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving are all popular activities with many places within minutes of the hotel offering these activities. • Reef HQ is the worlds largest living coral reef aquarium where you can get face to face with fantastic reef creatures. It is also only a few minutes from the hotel. • Right next door to the aquarium is the Museum of Tropical Queensland where you can discover the natural and cultural heritage of North Queensland. • The ferry terminal is a few minutes away and it specialises in trips to exotic Magnetic Island. • From the hotel it is just a 2 minute stroll to The Strand which is recognised as Australia’s cleanest beach, a custom-build promenade for the whole family to enjoy. • Across the road from the hotel is the beautiful Queens Garden that is home to various local flora and fauna. • Castle Hill is a scenic look out that provides magnificent views of Townsville where you can either walk or drive to the top of the hill. • Another popular place to visit is the Billabong Sanctuary situated just south of Townsville, they boast Australia’s best interactive wildlife experience. |
