Rocky Gardens Motor Inn has 42 rooms all with AAA four-star rating; the rooms are modern and well appointed. There are some two-bedroom units and there are two disabled units. Ferns Restaurant and bar is on site and offers a very good selection from the a la carte menu, and an excellent wine list. The restaurant is open 7 days for breakfast and dinner, and room service is available each day. There is also a swimming pool on the motel grounds. The motel is ideally located close to shops, the airport, railway station and Rockhampton Hospital. The botanical gardens and zoo are just minutes away, as is the local golf course. |

| Getting There |
Rocky Gardens is in South Rockhampton and a short taxi ride from the airport, and Hospital. It is located conveniently as the first Motel on the left coming from the south, but is ideal for travellers from the north to beat the ‘rush’ through Rockhampton the next morning. The southern entrance to Rockhampton is only a short distance from the motel, and access to the Capricorn and Bruce Highways is easy. The Street address is 292 – 306 Lower Dawson Road, Allenstown, but is still part of the Bruce Hwy. |
