In addition to being close to the Phi Phi ferry, the Summer Breeze Inn is a good base from which to explore the island of Phuket. The hotel has five rooms, each with its own character and identity. The family room is called Albatross, with one double bed and two bunk beds for children. The two superior rooms, called Boogey Board and Sails, share a common balcony. Some groups of friends, or business colleagues, like to book the entire hotel, and we arrange for transfers in a small local minibus. There is a popular local village restaurant nearby on the waterfront, and other restaurants on the beach not far away We can arrange airport, ferry and other transfers; and will make ferry and other reservations for you. Being located in a Thai village guests often get caught up in local events especially around Songkran, Roi Kratong and New Year. Modern hotels can often leave guests feeling detached from the 'real' Thailand, but at the Summer Breeze Inn we do our very best to make you feel very much at home. We know that holidays are short, so we try to help you make the most of every valuable moment. |

Albatross is the family room. It has one double bed, and a bunk bed for 2 children in an adjoining room. It has Cable TV. Air conditioning, hot shower, w.c. en-suite. External view over the town towards the hill. Rates are for 4 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 2 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total. Providing we know the time of arrival, we do accommodate late check-ins. Also we try to help with slightly later check-outs if the room is not required. Guests from Phi Phi, who have a very late flight, can stay for a few hours at half price. |

| Getting There |
From the Airport or Patong follow the signs to Phuket Town. Look for the Central Festival Shopping Centre on the Main ring road. With the Shopping centre on your left, turn right. At the SECOND set of traffic lights, turn left. It starts as a small road and then becomes much wider. At the next set of traffic lights turn RIGHT, and pass a school on your left. At the SECOND set of traffic lights turn Left. You will then come to a small mini roundabout. Take the second exit, effectively taking a right fork. Continue for a few minutes and turn left, where you see a sign for the Summer Breeze Inn. Take the second turning left as you go up the hill, and then the second right. | Things To Do |
There are shopping centres scattered all over Phuket Town nowadays, and at the weekend there is a night market. Cape Panwa has its own small beach, and is worth exploring, as are the beaches to the south of the Town towards Rawaii. A number of Spas have also emerged over the past few years if you would like to relax, or you can take an elephant ride, visit Phuket Zoo, or the Butterfly House. Guests often also like to visit Phang Nga to the north of the island, and take a long tailed boat to Phang Nga, and enjoy canoeing along the way. The James Bond Island, famous from the movie 'Man with the Golden gun' is usually the highlight of this tour along with the floating Gypsy Village. The most frequent island destinations are the Phi Phi Islands, and / or Koh Lanta and Krabi - from the local ferries. |
