The Eurostars Grand Central Hotel is located just next to Hackerbrücke. All S-train stops there. Also there is a Tram stop just in front of the Hotel. There you need just 2 stops till Central Station, where you can reach the subway By Air ------ Munich International (MUC). Then: *** S-Bahn (Local transit trains lines 1 and 8) to Hackerbrücke. *** Lufthansa operated shuttle bus service outside terminal 1 terminating at the opposite side of the Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof). From Hauptbahnhof you can take than all S-trains 1 stop till Hackerbrücke or you take the Tram for 2 stops. *** Taxi from outside the terminal, direct to the hotel (any of the waiting taxis in line will be happy to take you to town) By Train -------- To Munich Main Railway Station (Muenchen Hbf). From Hauptbahnhof you can take than all S-trains 1 stop till Hackerbrücke or you take the Tram for 2 stops. By Car ------ Follow the directions to City Centre (Stadtmitte), and then to Hackerbrücke. Munich is a cosmopolitan city and a cultural and shopping Mecca.
