Portland is noted for its fine historic buildings, yet few offer the graciousness of Annesley House. Built in 1878, as a doctor’s residence, it is one of the oldest buildings in the southwest of Victoria to offer accommodation. Within Annesley House you have the choice of five self-contained apartments, each painstakingly restored, reflecting the personalities of its' owners, past and present(self rated 4½). Wireless internet access, laundry, meeting/function room and gardens available for guests use. The Grande formal room has been restored to it’s former glory and is available for small functions. It also contains an extensive libary and DVD collection. |

Dr Brewer's (3 bedroom)
These are the original rooms of Annesley's first owner, Dr Brewer. Restored and remodeled to the highest standard to serve as a three-bedroom apartment. We can’t help but feel that if Dr Brewer was to walk through the door today he would be well pleased. Rates are for 4 people. Extra adults $30.00. Extra children $30.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

Named for the baytree (well over 100 years old) that blankets the balcony and day room with its foliage. This "Honeymoon suite" has been fitted with a beautiful four-poster & spa. Named for the Wadmore sisters who once ran Annesley as a guesthouse. The sisters were known for their “match making”! Annesley House makes the most of its prime location only a short stroll to shops, restaurants and the waterfront of Portland. Whilst the oldest town in Victoria it is also one of its best kept secrets. Thriving town, world class beaches and fishing, national parks, rare wildlife the list just goes on.
