Hampshire Hotel Beethoven is centrally located in Amsterdam, on one of the nicest shopping streets in the popular neighbourhood Oud-Zuid. The city centre can easily be reached within a few minutes. The trams stop right in front of the hotel and the city centre is only a few stops away. This way you can enjoy all that the capital has to offer. Also the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum and the Concert Hall are just a short distance away. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the RAI Conference centre, the World Trade Centre and the VU (university). The hotel takes great care of the basics. It offers clean rooms, an excellent breakfast and has a friendly staff. Paid parking is available. The central location, easy public transport, nice neighbourhood and nearby facilities like shops and restaurants make this hotel an ideal choice for tourists as well as business travellers. The hotel rooms offer the following amenities: coffee and tea maker, telephone, WiFi Internet, Pay-TV, safe, hairdryer. Between 07:00 and 10:00 you can enjoy a breakfast buffet. | Getting There |
By car: Coming from A1 Amersfoort or A2 Utrecht take Ring A10 Amsterdam. Leave the highway at Exit RAI(S109). At the end of the exit, at the traffic lights, turn right, follow the signs S109, on your left you will see the RAI exhibition center. On the roundabout turn left to Scheldeplein. Drive all the way through, cross a small bridge and at the T-junction on the end turn left onto the Stadionweg and then turn right at the next traffic lights (after 200m) into the Beethovenstraat. You will find the hotel on your right hand; By public trasport: Tram 5 and 24 stop in front of the hotel. The stop is called "Gerrit v/d Veen". |

From the hotel you can reach the WTC and the RAI in just a couple of minutes by public transport. Well known sights such as the 'Dam', the 'Museumplein' and the 'Leidseplein' are easy to reach by tram as well. In the vicinity of the hotel is an abundance of shops and restaurants, which enables you to combine work and pleasure. In front of the hotel you can catch a tram to well known sights, such as 'Dam' square, the museums at the 'Museumplein' as well as Amsterdam Central Station. In the centre you can for instance pay a visit to the 'Rijksmuseum' and the 'Van Gogh Museum', enjoy a drink on an outside terrace at the 'Leidseplein' or go on a canal cruise. The location of Hampshire Hotel Beethoven in the popular town district 'Amsterdam-Zuid' is also ideal for business purposes. |
