Casa Alba is a small guesthouse set in an apartment, on the third floor of a medieval building. It is very bright and quiet; a breakfast corner is at guests' disposal at all times, there is a comfortable lobby for your rest or if you want to have a quick snack. Our four rooms all have ensuite bathroom, Sat TV, air conditioning, hairdryer; they are simply decorated but very comfortable. |

Blue Double Room
Nice double room with ensuite bathroom. It is possible to add a third bed. Rates are for 2 people. Extra children €10.00. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

By car: Acces Lucca from Porta Santa Maria, parking is available right in Piazza Santa Maria, Casa Alba is 200 metres from the square; By train: Lucca Railway Station is about 20min.walking across the old town centre; alternatively you can get on the small city bus 9 or 10 that also drives across the town; By plane: The closest airport is Pisa; by car you should take the A12//SS1/A1 and merge onto Strada Grande Comunicazione Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, take the exit onto A12/E80 toward Pisa Nord/Genove, then take exit Pisa Nord to merge onto A11/E76 toward Firenze, take exit Lucca Est to merge onto Viale Europa; at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Viale Giosuè Carducci, then slight right at Piazzale Luigi Boccherini, and continue on Viale Lazzaro Papi, then continue on Viale Carlo Del Prete; turn right at Piazzale Martiri della Libertà, turn right at Piazza Santa Maria and continue on Via della Cavallerizza until you get to Via Filolungo. |

| Things To Do |
Just 15 miles northeast of Pisa and less than 50 west of Florence, Lucca is a must-add to any Tuscan agenda. Its array of wonderfully intact historical sites spans many eras. Lucca’s medieval city walls are, for example, fully intact, and hiking and even biking on top of them is a favorite pastime. The Duomo di San Martino, begun in the 11th century, is another visitor gem, as is the Roman amphitheatre. More recently, Lucca served as the birthplace of Italian opera great Giacomo Puccini. |
