The apartment is located at the first floor (no lift) in a 15th century three-storey townhouse built in the architectural Italian Renaissance style in rione Trastevere, close to the famous Santa Maria in Trastevere Church. It really makes you feel the emotions that the site arouses. In Calisto6 B&B you will find a nice and fine environment, to which the great taste of the owner (an architect) added much. Even the smallest details have been taken care of with diligence. Our charming rooms have 12 ft ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors. Each of them has a different style, but they are all decorated in soft colour and fitted with fine parquet or marble floor. When you open the shutters, you will gaze out of your 6 ft windows onto a lovely square and will enjoy the sun of Rome. All rooms have air conditioning, modern TV, and WiFi internet. Three rooms have a private bathroom, two rooms have shared bathroom. Rooms and communal space are cleaned daily, bed linen is changed every two days. Breakfast is included in the rate and served at any time at the bar downstairs from the B&B. |

By Train From Termini Railway Station: Bus line H (6 stops, every 20 min) to San Francesco a Ripa stop, walking distance is 100 meters. From Tiburtina railway station: underground line B (direction Laurentina for 5 stops) to Termini station, then take bus line H (6 stops, every 20 min) to San Francesco a Ripa stop, walking distance 100 meters. By Airplane From Fiumicino airport (FCO): take express train FR1 (every 15 minutes) to Trastevere station (5 stops), tram line 8 (direction Largo Argentina, to Piazza Mastai 5 stops), walking distance 100 meters. From Ciampino airport take a bus to Termini station, then Bus line H (6 stops, every 20 min) to San Francesco a Ripa stop, walking distance is 100 meters. For the ultimate in luxury, we can also arrange for our chauffeur-driven limousine to pick you up and deliver you straight to the hotel. Contact our concierge for details. |

| Things To Do |
The area of Trastevere is ideal for a walk through narrow streets, squares and colours that still maintain an authentically Roman character and offers a pleasant contrast with the solemn splendour seen at the Vatican. In antiquity Trastevere – "beyond the Tiber" – was the first district established on the right bank of the Tiber and was inhabited by artisans, fishermen, merchants and communities of foreigners, connected with the activities of the nearby port. The historic centre is at your door. Crossing the Tevere you are at the Pantheon, with Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori; on to the Campidoglio, to the Foro Romano, to the Coliseum, to Fontana di Trevi and then Trinità dei Monti, to the most famous roads for shopping; coming down from the other side of the hill of the Gianicolo, you are at San Pietro. All destinations are reachable by foot, for those who love to walk and enjoy Rome in the best way, but if you prefer, you can take a bus that stops close to the B&B. In the evening, you will have the unique feeling of entering in the history of the city getting to the alleys of Trastevere, the most Roman neighbourhood, famous for the many Roman trattorias where you can enjoy typical dishes, a true delight the palate. |
