All rooms have Austar, TV's, phones, toilets, showers, fridges, air conditioning/heating and tea and coffee making facilities. Room service is available for breakfast and dinner times. The Major Mitchell Motel is located right near the heart of town and within easy walking distance to Bourke's clubs, hotels and shops. The Major Mitchell Motel is located on the corner of Richard and Mertin Streets and security parking is provided for our guests. |

There are many things to do in Bourke and the recently opened Back O'Bourke Exhibition Centre is an excellent starting point. A ride on a real paddlesteamer down the Darling River or a visit to Fred Hollows grave are just some of the many sights to see in Bourke. |
