Three luxurious and private self-contained cottages in the heart of McLaren Vale within easy walking distance to restaurants, cellar doors and cafes. Located in Caffrey Street the cottages are minutes away from the local beaches and renowned wineries in the region. The Dalney, at 45 Caffrey St, is a luxuriously renovated, 1870s cottage which has two beautifully appointed queen sized bedrooms with quality linen and plush bathrobes provided. It has 9ft ceilings with the original pressed metal ceiling to the spacious lounge where you can relax on a leather chaise lounge whilst watching the large flat screen TV. There is a slow combustions log heater as well as reverse-cycle air conditioning throughout. There is a full gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances including an ice fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom is to die for with large two person spa, huge shower with rainforest shower head and large bathsheets. There is an enormous outdoor deck overlooking private gardens. The Marlene, at 42 Caffrey Street is a delightful two bedroom self-contained log chalet. Both queen sized bedrooms have French doors leading to balconies that have magnificent vineyard views. There is a loft bedroom upstairs where you can sit outside and watch the sun go down whilst sipping a glass of wine. Downstairs there is a large two person corner spa to soak in and a fully equipped kichen. A comfortable loungeroom and dining area completes the downstairs. Outdoors there is a large private deck. The Teresa, at 42 Caffrey Street is a unique fully restored four room 1850s stone cottage, and it boasts all the charm and ambience of yesteryear. It has a comfortable lounge to relax in front of the open fire. The bedroom has a romantic queen sized bed with quality linen. There is a large ensuite bathroom with a deep claw foot bath to soak in and separate shower. The galley kitchen is well equipped with microwave, large fridge and electric cooktop. Each cottage has its own individual character and is equipped with BBQ facilities and alfresco dining. They are perfect for the wedding night, romantic getaway, weekend winery indulgence, and special occasion. |

Follow the Victor Harbor Road to the McLaren Vale turn off. Caffrey Street is located off the Main Road and is the first street on the right. Follow the street for 300 metres and The Dalney at No 45 is located on the left behind a white picket fence. The Teresa and Marlene are across the road at No 42 opposite Palomino Street. |

Full or half day winery tour can be arranged at short notice. Airport limousine transfers and transfers to restaurants are available. Walk to shops, cellar doors and cafes in the Main Street. Lunch at the many local eateries, Red Poles, D’Arrys, The Currant Shed, Pennys Hill Winery. Purchase a Blessed Cheese on the "Cheese and Wine trail". Enjoy a treatment at the nearby day spa or spend the day at the local beach only minutes away. Enjoy a scenic flight from Aldinga Airport, visit the renowned Willunga Farmers Market or travel the Fleurieu Art Trail. There is plenty to do while staying at 3 Divas! |
