The property is about 1,5 Km south of the historical centre of San Gimignano. The house is within easy reach when walking along the “Via Vecchia”, an ancient Medieval road surrounded by green fields and rich of panoramic views. The absolute quiet is excellent for a relax holiday in the country. The property has independent car access, private parking and a large garden where it is possible to organize barbecues, sunbathing and relax. The house was an old country cottage, now restored. The country house is surrounded by vineyard and olive trees, It is ideally located to explore the many historic towns (trips between 40 and 90 minute) and the sea (between 60 and 80 minutes away). All double rooms and twin rooms are large and bright, furnished in Toscany stile. The rooms have independent bathrooms with shower, phone, minibar, Sat TV, wi-fi internet, independent air conditioning and heating. Electricity, gas, bed and bath linen are included in the rate. Nearby there is a farm where you can taste the famous “Chianti” and “Vernaccia” wines of San Gimignano and also buy wine and organic olive oil. |
