This unique lodge close to the shores of Lake Rotorua is nestled above 'Ohinemutu', a spectacular, historical, thermal Maori Settlement. Lake Road Lodge Guest Rooms are only 300 metres from the city's fine dining restaurants and local entertainment. Take in the stunning views and beauty of Lake Rotorua while relaxing in the spa pool on the deck. Lake Road Lodge Guest Rooms are ideal for couples, family get-togethers and small corporate functions. Help yourself to continental breakfast provisions from the fully stocked guest kitchen. Our location has fabulous lake views from the shared guest lounge and spa deck. Guest facilities includes: two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom with en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, microwave and oven, large sunny open-plan lounge/dining room with TV, DVD, CD player and comfortable furniture with space to relax, hot spa and laundry. Each room accommodates 2 guests. Extra guest $50 per night. Not suitable for children under the age of 12, however, when booking all three rooms together as a single group, children of all ages are welcome and an extra guest can be accommodated with a fold out single bed. On arrival, park in front of the Lodge. Walk down the pathway to the telephone. Call for the security code to enter the Lodge. You will then be advised of your room number. Make yourself at home, relax & enjoy! 24 hour phone assistance for guests. |

| Getting There |
By car south from Taupo: Follow the main street, which is Fenton Street, to the lakefront. Turn left onto Whakaue Street then turn right at round-about onto Lake Road and proceed straight through a second round-about (Lake Road). Continue up Lake Road to number 21 and you will find Lake Road Lodge on your right-hand side. By car north from Auckland: Turn left off Fairy Springs Road at major intersection on to Lake Road (intersection will have a BP petrol station on one corner and an empty lot with billboards on another corner). Continue along Lake Road until another set of lights, turn left at these lights. Continue up Lake Road a little way until number 21 where you will find Lake Road Lodge on your left-hand side, just before the village green and lakefront. - you can call on our toll free number if you require assistance. |

Maori Concert and Hangi (feast), 300 metres to scenic flights by helicopter and float plane; Lake Rotorua cruise, boating and fishing attractions, boat ramp, historical and geothermal Maori village - St Faiths Church and Tamatekapua meeting house, master carver's workshop. Visit the Rotorua Museum and art deco Blue Baths and also the arts centre. Enjoy your time at the Agrodome, Skyline Gondolas and luge and the New Zealand Farm show and the Kiwi Encounters. Jet boating, bungy, free fall, roll down in a Zorb, off road four wheel driving, horse riding, mini golf, children's leisure park, ten pin bowling, go-karts, paradise valley, Polynesian Spa, Hells Gate, Buried Village, Blue and Green Lakes, Mountain Biking through Whakarewarewa, geothermal parks, cinema, convention centre, theatre, local craft and fresh produce markets. |
