The Castle – Villa by the Sea is a luxurious Mediterranean style villa situated in the heart of Cowes, the main township of Phillip Island. With only 6 suites The Castle provides for only a small number of guests which ensures your total privacy, comfort and relaxation. It is only footsteps from the beach-front and a short stroll to the many restaurants, breakfast cafes and shops. Curl up by the cosy log fires in winter with a good book, a drink from the bar or enjoy relaxing on the sun-drenched decks and terraces. | Getting There |
By car: follow Monash Freeway and South Gippsland Highway (M420) from Melbourne to Phillip Island. Over bridge follow main road into Cowes all the way to foreshore. Turn right, follow Esplanade to the end and turn right. The Castle is 1st on your left By train/bus: catch V-line train and connecting bus service to Phillip Island, Cowes bus stop is not far from The Castle. Advise us of arrival time and we will collect you and your luggage. |

• Have a close encounter with a koala at the Koala Conservation Centre. • Visit our world famous nightly Penguin Parade • Catch a ferry ride to Seal Rock to see 8000 Fur Seals from as close as 2 metres! • Stroll around the corner and settle into one of Cowes many restaurants. • Visit Australia's largest timber maze, maxi golf, illusion room and puzzle cafe at A'Maze'N Things. • Visit the Phillip Island Grand Circuit, home of the 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix. • Go for a scenic helicopter flight around the island. • Surf or stroll our famous beaches • Drop a line over the jetty for the big one • Visit a local winery, sample their wines and a snack. • Visit the new Ten-Pin Bowling Alley. |
