Glenayr Apartments are located on a 1,000 acre working farm just 10 minutes drive from Launceston CBD in Northern Tasmania. The Launceston airport is only 15 minutes away. At Glenayr, there are 5 separate apartments, each comprising 6 rooms. Upstairs is the bedroom (with queen size bed), ensuite and sitting room. Downstairs has a dining room, separate kitchenette and additional bathroom.
A varied range of farming enterprises are being undertaken at Glenayr and all farming is based on organic practices as much as possible. Ryanna vineyard on the property is just emerging after recent plantings, with first vintage available for purchase upon request.

Getting There We are located on the edge of Launceston, 5 kilometres from the CBD and only 10 minutes drive from AFL's Aurora Stadium. From the CBD, drive along Elphin Road and turn left into Hobbler's Bridge Road at Newstead. Two kilometres along you will reach a roundabout. Turn left there onto the Tasman Highway, continue for 2 kilometres, turn right when you see our sign and the vineyard. Our roadside number is 40855 Tasman Highway.
Parking There is ample on-farm parking for any sized vehicles including cars with trailors, caravans, horse floats, trucks or motorhomes.
Things To Do There are a varied range of farming enterprises being undertaken at Glenayr. Tours of the vineyard and farm can be accommodated giving an overview of this ideal lifestyle. You can visit Launceston and the surrounding countryside enjoying the many varied restaurants and tourist attractions.
