Heartsong Retreat is a haven of peace and tranquillity set amidst native palms and landscaped gardens on beautiful Waiheke Island. This exclusive waterfront property is perfect for taking time out for yourself or for a romantic weekend away. You will leave here relaxed and rejuvenated. Heartsong is the ultimate getaway. We have a fabulous one bedroom fully equipped cottage (65sqm) with all modern amenities. Recycled native timber floors and furnishings chosen with love and care provide a comfortable and stylish ambience. The open plan living area opens through French doors onto a gorgeous verandah where you can rest in a comfortable chair and let the day go by or sit and watch the ever changing sunset overlooking the bay below. Set in tranquil surroundings with private beach access, the cottage is surrounded by potager gardens brimming with vegetables and herbs. Walk through the property to a private boatshed (complete with kayaks and a dinghy), have a little snooze there, swim at the beach, lie in the hammock (large enough for two) or relax in the large heated spa pool after a soothing massage from one of our therapists. While the homely surroundings encourage comfort and creativity, it's the lure of the great outdoors that turns this getaway into a real retreat. It is a short walk to Whakanewha Regional Park where there are many walking tracks through native bush leading to the pristine beach and abundant bird life. It is a short drive to many of the vineyards, restaurants and other beaches. The golf course and sports grounds are close by. Beauty treatments and massage are available to lift your spirits and a perfect recipe for wellbeing. Toiletries and hamper of breakfast provisions are organic where possible. Guests are welcome to harvest the organically grown vegetables and herbs from the potager gardens. |

| Getting There |
Fullers passenger ferry runs approximately every hour from downtown Auckland to Matiatia Ferry, Waiheke Island. Sealink Car ferry from HalfMoon Bay to Kennedy Point, Waiheke Island Once on Waiheke, Heartsong is approximately 15minutes from Matiaita and 10mins from Kennedy Point by car or taxi. Follow the road to Onetangi- travel through Oneroa, Surfdale and Ostend. Approximately 1Km after the Woolworths Supermarket, Ostend, turn Right down O'Brien Rd (signposted Whakanewha Regional Park) Continue until you get to the beach at the end of the road, drive up the hill (with the Omiha Hall on your right) take the first right (Omiha Rd )Drive past the letterbox at no 8 (marked Enter) and park in front of the garage doors. |

| Things To Do |
Whakanewha Regional Park which is a very quiet beach with long stretches of white sand, several walking tracks and a protected bird reserve. It is safe for swimming and you can kayak or take the dinghy there also. Vineyards and restaurants to visit, some of them being Te Whau, Stoneyridge, Ridgeview, Te Motu, Saratoga Onetangi Beach where you can dine at BeachFront Cafe or Charley Farleys.
