Le Student 8 is located in the Bell City complex in growing inner northern suburb of Melbourne, close to La Trobe University, RMIT University, NMIT and Bundoora Park. Approximately 20 minutes to the north of Melbourne CBD, Preston is home to one of the largest, most diverse communities anywhere in the state. There are over 900 hectares of open space in the Preston area, including ornamental gardens, sports ovals, parks, bike paths, streetscapes and nature landscapes. Preston is well known for its manufacturing base and retail activities including Preston Market, Northland Shopping Centre and its many discount retail / factory outlets. THE ROOMS Le Student 8 offers students modern, studio rooms at affordable rates. 360 single, twin or double rooms are available, all located in one building, similar to living on campus. Each room has a private bathroom and microwave. Students staying at Le Student 8 can take advantage of the communal kitchens (one located on each floor), laundry facilities (one located on each floor) and study centre. Students have access to full hotel facilities, including swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium and restaurant. From the airport exit onto the Tullamarine Freeway from the airport heading towards the city. Take the Bell Street exit on the Tullamarine Freeway and drive approximately 15 minutes along Bell St. Le Student 8 is located on the corner of Hotham Street and Bell Street on the right hand side of the road. A taxi journey will cost approximately $30 - $35 one way from the airport. |
