The Skotel is an alpine retreat, nestled in the tussock, on the edge of the Whakapapa Village in the heart of the Tongariro National Park. Skotel's wood décor, friendly restaurant and bar, spa pools and lounge provide a comfortable base for all activities in the Tongariro National Park.

Skotel has a wide range of accommodation from superior and standard, we also have 5 small cabins.

Our friendly reception staff has a wide knowledge of the activities available in the Park, both winter and summer, and can help you plan your day.

Superior Room

Situated in the new section of the Skotel. These rooms have tea / coffee making facilities, TV, phone, fridge, shower and toilet. Each of our superior rooms has its own external balcony.
Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $15.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total.
