Welcome to hotel DUO Prague! Staying at Duo can be an unforgettable experience for both business and leisure travelers. Hotel DUO, offering you the best value-for-money accommodation in Prague, is located conveniently in the heart of Europe, just 10 minutes from city centre by excellent public transport. New underground station „Strizkov“ was open in the front of the hotel, providing direct access to the city centre, which will make getting around even easier. For those traveling by car, we offer excellent parking facilities. The hotel features 647 Air-conditioned guestrooms including Suites. Furnishings and decor include rose-colored wood furniture, desks, chairs, tables, brass lamps, red carpeting, orange-patterned drapes, coffee/tea making facilities, and comforters. Bathrooms provide either a tub with handheld shower or a stall shower without tub. A complimentary Full-English-Style-Breakfast featuring eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, and pastries is provided each morning. Formanka Restaurant - Folkloric-decor restaurant with beam ceiling, rustic decor serving traditional Czech fare for lunch/dinner, with choices such as goulash soup, baked pikeperch, roast duck, baked pork ribs, and pork with red cabbage and potato dumplings. Gourmet Restaurant - Informal restaurant with orange walls and ceilings, wood trim, potted plants. Open daily for complimentary breakfast buffet. À la carte dinner menu, including pizza, pasta, international and Czech specialties. Beer Garden - Outdoor spot open in summer, with picnic tables on lawn, barbecue grill specializing in Czech beers, grilled foods. Lobby Bar - Bar/lounge serving pizza, beer, cocktails. For a daily surcharge, guests may use an independently operated public sports club in the hotel that features an indoor swimming pool, a 12-lane bowling alley, massage, sauna and far more… By using the Metro (underground) system, guests can reach Prague's Old Town Square, seven km (4.3 miles) away, and from there Prague's compact historical center is best explored on foot. From Prague City Centre to Hotel DUO: Underground Line C station -->> "Strizkov" How to reach Hotel DUO? - By train: Usually trains arrive to the Central Train Station (h.n.) or to Holesovice Station. A taxi ride from the Central Station should take up to 10 minutes and from Holesovice, only about 5 minutes. - By car: If you are travelling to Prague from Berlin and Dresden, you must get off the highway at the intersection of the neighbourhood called Prosek. ONce you reach the first traffic light you turn left, you cross the next traffic light and you will see the Duo on your right. If you are travelling to Prague from Plzen, follow the directions to Centrum (center of Prague) and then look for the signs showing how to drive to Teplice; at a certain point you will see Prosek written together with Teplice; get off the main road where the sign shows to get off to Prosek, drive right and the hotel is on your right hand side. If you are travelling to Prague from Brno and Vienna, follow the directions to Centrum (center of Prague) and then look for the sign showing how to drive to Teplice; at a point you will see Prosek written together with Teplice; get off the main road where the sign shows to get off to Prosek, drive right and the hotel is on your right hand side. From the Airport: Use our Hotel taxi service, one way would cost you Czk 700 (apprx. Eur 28) for up to 4 passengers. Ráte is subject to change. 9 May 2008 the new metro station "STRIZKOV", line C, just in front of our Hotel started its service. You will be in the city centre in 10 minutes. |
