Ashmore Palms is a Holiday Village on the Gold Coast, centrally located only 10 mins drive from Surfers Paradise and 13 minutes from Movie World.

The Village's accommodation ranges from budget priced 3 1/2 star Holiday Villas up to the luxurious Macaw Mansions and 4 1/2 Star Rainforest Retreats. Each cabin type is fully self-contained, with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning, and up to 3 bedrooms. The Lorikeet Lodges have ramp access and are designed to cater to guests with special needs (with assistance).

Ashmore Palms provides a relaxed and enjoyable family holiday, with features and facilities to suit all ages.

The Village features 2 swimming lagoons (one heated in winter), playground, barbecues, full size tennis court, reception, tour desk, convenience store, 3 guest laundries, bird aviaries, man-made rainforest walkway and Australia's largest collection of South American Macaw Parrots.

Families can enjoy the free activities each week. These vary weekly and can include face painting, kids games, games with Macca Macaw, sand art, colouring in competitions and morning teas with the Macaws, and photos with the Macaws. (Most activities are run during peak times).

The Village is a short stroll from a local shopping centre, take away food outlets and restaurants. Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle and Con-X-ion transfers runs daily transfers (at affordable prices) to Sea World, Movie World, Wet 'n Wild, Dreamworld and Currumbin Sanctuary. Tickets and transfers can be arranged with the Village Reception.

Ashmore Palms has won numerous Queensland Tourism Awards, Australian Tourism Awards, Hotel Motel & Accommodation Association (Qld) Awards and its division of the Gold Coast City Garden Competition each year since 1990.

(The Holiday Villas have coin operated air-conditioning/heating ($2 for 4 hours). Air-conditioning/heating is included in the tariff of the other cabin styles. Each cabin style has a ceiling fan.)

Features master bedroom with queen bed, TV & ensuite, kids bedroom with 2x2-level bunk sets, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, TV, a/c, BBQ & private carport.
Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $15.00. Extra children $10.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 5 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total.

Getting There	BY CAR If you are heading south from Brisbane, follow the Pacific Motorway (M1). Take exit 66, which is the Smith Street Motorway (Route 10). Follow the Smith Street MOTORWAY (NOT Smith Street). Take the Olsen Avenue Exit. Turn right at the lights onto Olsen Avenue (Route 4), which heads towards Southport and Broadbeach. Follow Olsen Avenue for 1.4km and turn left onto Nerang-Southport Road (Route 20). Turn right at the first roundabout (next to Sunshine Ford) into Hinde Street. Ashmore Palms is at the end of Hinde Street. If you are heading north on the Pacific Motorway (M1), take Exit 66 (Route 10). This exit becomes a side road. Follow for 1.5km and turn right at the first set of lights onto Route 10. This road crosses the Pacific Motorway and then merges with the Smith Street Motorway. Follow the Smith St Motorway. Take the Olsen Avenue Exit. Turn right at the lights onto Olsen Avenue (Route 4), which heads towards Southport and Broadbeach. Follow Olsen Avenue for 1.4km and turn left onto Nerang-Southport Road (Route 20). Turn right at the first roundabout (next to Sunshine Ford) into Hinde Street. Ashmore Palms is at the end of Hinde Street. BY TRAIN If you are catching a train from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, catch the train to Nerang Station. Catch a taxi from Nerang Station to Ashmore Palms. If you are catching a train from Brisbane Airport, the Airtrain runs services that include transfer from Nerang Station to Ashmore Palms. Contact Airtrain for more information. BY COACH If you are wanting to catch a coach from Coolangatta Airport, the Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle can transfer you to Ashmore Palms. Please contact Ashmore Palms' Reception in advance to find out prices and make arrangements. Payment must be made with Reception in advance. If you are wanting to catch a coach from Brisbane Airport, Coachtrans can transfer you to Ashmore Palms. Please contact Ashmore Palms' Reception in advance to find out prices and make arrangements. Payment must be made with Reception in advance. BY TAXI Local taxi drivers can transfer you to Ashmore Palms. If they are unaware of the address, it is 71 Hinde Street, Ashmore.
Parking	Each cabin has private driveway parking. The Cactus Cabanas, Lorikeet Lodges and Rainforest Retreats have carports. Visitors are welcome to park in the designated visitor parking area, near the Village Reception.
Things To Do	The Gold Coast has an abundance of things to see and do. Ashmore Palms is only 13 minutes drive from Sea World, Movie World and Wet 'n Wild, and 18 minutes from Dreamworld and WhiteWater World. Queensland's largest shopping centre, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, is 15-20 minutes by car. The Gold Coast has beautiful sandy beaches, lush hinterland and rainforest areas, various shopping centres and other attractions. Various tours are available within the Gold Coast and to Mount Tamborine, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Australia Zoo and Byron Bay. These can all be booked with the Village Reception. Ashmore Palms is also a short driving distance from local cinemas, ten pin bowling, a bottle shop, Carrara Sports Stadium, Conrad Jupiter's Casino, Gold Coast Arts Centre, Griffith University, the Indy Track, Marina Mirage, Parklands Showgrounds, and other tourist attractions and sporting venues.
