When you simply don't wish to be found, when you need to escape, unwind and experience the finer things in life, there is no better place to disappear to than Bedarra; an indulgent tropical private haven, lying off the coast of Cairns. At Bedarra, guests can do as they wish, when they wish. A maximum of just 32 guests are accommodated in 16 secluded Villas, each hidden in the rainforest, only minutes from the beach. Each Villa has a separate living area, contemporary bathroom and king size bed. On the balcony, guests can relax in a hammock and contemplate the beauty and calm of this elegant retreat. The cuisine is exquisite. The tantalising menus change daily, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and exotic tropical produce. A popular lunch option is a romantic beach picnic with a gourmet hamper. While the focus on Bedarra is on peace and relaxation, there are also many activities to enjoy, such as catamaran sailing, paddle-skiing, fishing, snorkelling and diving day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, as well as motorised dinghies for exploring the island's picturesque, private beaches. Feel like more indulgence? Enjoy a relaxing therapeutic massage in the privacy of your Villa. Children aged 12 years and under are not catered for. |

| Getting There |
Bedarra Island is located approximately four kilometres off the Tropical North Queensland coast, midway between Townsville and Cairns. Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities, Singapore, Hong Kong, Auckland and Los Angelos to Cairns. From Cairns you can choose between a scenic air transfer or a coach and boat transfer to Bedarra via Dunk Island. Please request your preferred transfer type at the time of booking. Air Transfer Hinterland Aviation operates flights between Cairns Airport and Dunk Island up to 3 times daily. Alternatively, if you would prefer a private transfer charter flights are also available. Flights take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Dunk Island a 20 minute boat transfer between Dunk and Bedarra Islands meets Hinterland transfers daily. Passengers must advise their connecting flight details at least seven days prior to departure for coach transfers from the main terminal at Cairns to the Hinterland Aviation terminal. Coach & Boat Transfer Mission Beach Dunk Island Connections operate services between Cairns Airport and Cairns City three times daily to connect with the Quickcat to Dunk Island. Port Douglas and Silky Oaks transfers are available on request. Transfer time is approximately 2½ hours from Cairns Airport to Dunk Island.
