Wairua Lodge is a purpose built lodge with separate accommodation. It sits on a sunny ridge in a bushclad valley near Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Wairua Lodge offers separate accommodation The "Hidden Valley Snug" rooms. Begin the day in your sunny patio, gazing across the valley into the Coromandel Mountains. Enjoy the morning sunlight glittering on the leaves as the summer breeze and birdsong awaken the valley. In the evening, await the native morepork owls arriving to feed as the garden lights attract the puriri moth.

There are 4 serviced guest rooms with ensuite, easy chairs, patio, fridge and tea making facilities. Portable BBQs are available, as well as the use of our Conservatory full kitchen.

The "River Deck Suite" overhangs a bush clad ravine. This wood lined fully self contained has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It can connect with a "Hidden Valley Snug" room, to create a three bedroom, two bathroom option for larger groups

Come and relax in our beautiful natural environment, swim in one of the four swimming holes, go for a nature trail walk through our native forest .In the evenings you can book the Treetops bath house set amongst the trees above the babbling waterfall below. Or soak under the stars, in the Night Sky spa pool.

Getting There	Wairua is situated at 251 Old Coach Road, Kaimarama in the "heart"of The Coromandel. We are 2 hours 30 minutes from Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton, just off The Pacific Highway 25. Turn into The 309 road, and alternative route to Coromandel township, (5 minutes before Whitianga on the Tairua side of town) Travel for 4.5 kms, you will come to a small bridge and a group of letter boxes with our sign up on the bank. Old Coach Road is on your right. It is a gravel windy road, so take your time. Travel 1.5 kms, follow the Wairua signs and veer to the left at the fork in the road. Turn left into our driveway, which is 600m long. Then cross the river and drive up to the lodge.
