| Getting There |
From Highway A1, the exit is "Firenze Certosa" and you will start to follow direction for "Centro" and "Porta Romana" (Ancient Roman Gate). Always straight on until you get to Porta Romana, you turn all around the square because you want to get inside the ancient gate. You will be on Via Romana, that turns into Via Maggio; at the end of Via Maggio cross the river (S.Trinita Bridge) and turn right along the river and then making left, just before the next bridge (Ponte Vecchio). If you choose to reach Florence by train or plane, taxi or car transfer is available upon request. |
