Our Bed & Breakfast is located at the heart of the historical centre of Florence, 5 minutes walking from the train station and in a very short walking distance to the main sites and attractions of the city (if you come with a car there is a parking place right near us with reduced price to our guests). In our Residenza with its 6 beautiful rooms (which 3 of them are frescoed) you have a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the past with the modern luxuries and comfort. Each room has a private bathroom, air-conditioning, TV., mini-bar and many other facilities. The continental breakfast is taking place outside the Residenza, on the restaurant which is right underneath us. |

| Getting There |
Arriving by train: You should get off the train the main train station of Florence, which is SMN (Santa Maria Novella). From the train station to the Residenza: Walking - From there it is 5 minutes walking to the Residenza. You may use the under passage way and get outside on the last exit on the left. Getting to Via Cerreatani, keep on walking and on the first corner turn to your left, which is the Residenza's street, named "Via del Giglio". Keep on walking and in one of the next few blocks you will see the sign "Residenza Castiglioni" which is located on the second floor. Ring the bell of the intercom and we will open the door for you. By taxi - Actually the walking distance is very short and you can do it easily by walking. Still, if you have lots of baggage or for any other reason, you may take a taxi. It can be found at the train station, when you are heading to the church - Santa Maria Novella. From the airport of Florence to us (Peretola): By bus - You may take the bus service (the Sita blue bus) which will take you to the centre of the city, right near the main train station, Santa Maria Novella. To get from there to the Residenza, please take a look at the explanation of how to get to us from the train station by foot. By taxi - Another option is taking a taxi from the airport. Just mention the address of the Residenza. |
| Parking |
If you prefer to come with a car, there is a car parking right in our street (few steps from the Residenza), named "Garage Giglio". The daily charge can change from time to time, but our guests get a discount from the official price. In busy times the car might be moved by the garage staff, so we always suggest to inform them 30 minutes before you want your car back. |
