Lakeside Resort is uniquely situated on the banks of the stunning Lake Kununurra. Two kilometres from the town centre the resort offers a tranquil relaxing environment to stay in, away from the hussle and bussle of town. Set amongst three acres of lush green lawns and spotted with shady trees Lakeside Resort prides itself on personal friendly service and attention to detail that will ensure you an enjoyable stay in the Kimberley whether you are doing business in the area or exploring the rugged wilderness of the Kimberley.

We have two types of rooms, Motel rooms, with ensuites and daily service or
Self catering rooms including a kitchenette, allowing you to cater for yourself.

The property has two restaurants, The Durack Steakhouse, open all year, offering A la Carte meals and during May to September the alfresco Sails Bar & Bistro offers bistro meals and speciality nights.

Our shaded swimming pool surrounded by palm trees overlooks Lake Kununurra and our private wharf, where you can feed fish, spot crocodiles at night or connect with lake tours. The lake and it's picturesque surroundings give you the chance to see the abundant bird and wildlife in their natural habitat, and offers a unique location to watch the sun setting over the lake whilst sipping a drink.
