One of the most beautiful prestigious palaces on the Gran Canal. Our Bed & Breakfast is situated on the first and second floor of a wonderful Venetian building in the heart of Venice, just beside the Accademia Gallery where one can admire masterpieces by famous venetian artists such as Tintoretto, Giorgione, Guardi and Carpaccio. It is also located within a few minutes walk from St Mark's Square, Palazzo Grassi and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Our staff, who speak various languages, love to welcome our guests in a warm and pleasant manner giving much importance to their every need. The rooms are all very tastefully furnished, spacious and bright with marvellous views overlooking this enchanting city. Breakfast is served in our breakfast room or on our ivy-draped terrace where one can sit and relax after an exhausting day exploring this historical city where the irresistible seducer Casanova and Marco Polo walked its very 'calle' |

| Getting There |
We are located close to the boat stop ACCADEMIA and next door to the accademia Gallerie. As you get off the boat, on your right hand you will see the "Caffè Belle Arti"; take the first alleyway (Calle Gambara) on the right corner. After 20 mt you will find our entrance gate on your right at number 1054. If you go as far as "Ponte de le Maravegie" you have gone too far. ARRIVING IN VENICE FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT Marco Polo airport is at Tessera on the mainland. You can choose to take a water taxi from the airport to the vicinity of our B&B (about 25 minutes) or the public bus line n.5 (every 30 minutes) to Piazzale Roma (last stop - about 20 minutes) and then the vaporetto line n. 82, n.1 or N and get off at the "Accademia" stop (about 25 minutes), and in a few minutes walk you will find us waiting to welcome you at the B&B. ARRVING IN VENICE BY TRAIN Venice Railway Station is about 1km from our place and at the end of the Canal Grande. You can reach us with a vaporetto (line n. 82, n.1 or N)(you may have to pay for the luggage too, depending on the size). The stop is "Accademia" (about 20 minutes) BY PLANE FROM TREVISO AIRPORT Eurobus service/BASIQ-AIR Treviso Airport - Mestre-Venezia Every day fast connection, by freeway, from/to S. Angelo Airport of Treviso with Mestre Railway and Venice (Piazzale Roma). The service is in connections with the departures and the arrivals of the BASIQ-AIR flights. No car parking available as the B&B is located in the centre of Venice. You can leave your car in Piazzale Roma at extra charge (30 euros and over), or in the several car parkings located right before the bridge connecting the mainland to Venice, which cost between 3 and 10 euros per day. |
