Close to a variety of quality takeout foods including Italian, Thai, Indian and Turkish cuisine. Havelock North Village, local wineries and attractions are a short drive away. All of our guests receive friendly and helpful service at 806 Motor Lodge, including local tourism advice to suit your individual needs and a free booking service. We also offer CafeNet high-speed wireless internet and a fax service with a smile |

TRAVELLING NORTH FROM WELLINGTON Coming in on SH 2 [Railway Rd], turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Southampton St. Cross the railway line and continue to the end. Turn left into Willowpark Rd and then right at the next roundabout into Heretaunga St East. 806 Motor Lodge is on the left hand side just past the Mobil service station. TRAVELLING SOUTH FROM NAPIER From the Napier-Hastings Expressway, turn left at Evenden Rd roundabout, continue to end and turn right at the roundabout into Pakowhai Rd. Take the 2nd left into Frederick St. Follow Frederick St along and over the railway line over Karamu Rd (2nd set of traffic lights). Continue along [now Grove Rd] and turn right at the roundabout into Willowpark Rd. Travel along Willowpark Rd until the 2nd roundabout and turn left into Heretaunga St East. 806 Motor Lodge is on the left hand side just past the Mobil service station. |

Situated just to the east side of Hastings CBD, 806 Motor Lodge provides a central location without the hustle and bustle. A 5 minute stroll will take you to the newly transformed Hawkes Bay Opera House which is quickly becoming the choice for a variety of quality events including theatre, conferences and weddings. In the same vicinity is Hastings City New World where you will be spoilt for choice with their extensive wine selection, gorgeous delicatessen and delicious bakery. Hastings CBD starts here and continues up Heretaunga St offering a wide variety of shopping surrounded by beautiful floral displays in summer. Hastings CBD is the proud host of the annual Blossom Festival. Hastings Racecourse and Hastings Showground’s , home to The Kelt Capital and Horse of the Year are a only a short drive from 806 Motor Lodge as is Rush Munro’s delicious ice-cream garden, Frimley Rose Garden and of course Splash Planet. A 3 minute drive will take you out to Havelock North offering an abundance of fine restaurants’ and cafes along with boutique shopping all captured in a traditional village charm. Arataki Honey and Te Mata Cheese Co are definite must do’s along with numerous Wine Tours and Gannet Safari’s. |
