Takaru Grampians is a Top Tourist Park (3½ star)and is located in the heart of the Grampians National Park. The park is a wildlife sanctuary in its own right with constant visits from deer, kangaroos and rosellas that can all be hand fed. Whether you're after a wilderness adventure or a relaxing escape, our friendly staff can assist you and provide tips for your stay. We offer accommodation to suit all budgets and families, from large units and cabins that sleep up to six, deluxe style spa accommodation, powered and unpowered camp sites. For caravan or motor homes we offer individual taps, with sullage and power. In peak season staff conduct kid’s club activities and can provide special activities for groups of 20 or more. With a pool, bicycle hire, playground and kiosk we can accommodate your needs. Disabled facilities, baby bath, camp kitchen, camp fires and LPG refills. |

| Getting There |
The resort is just three hours drive from Melbourne in the picturesque town of Halls Gap, within Victoria's mountainous Grampians National Park. Travel by car via Stawell on the Western Highway. Indulge your sense of adventure amongst a series of five immense sandstone ridges with peaks, valleys and waterfalls. The 167,000 acre National Park is a nature lover's sanctuary, home to colourful wildflower displays, native animals, aboriginal sites and all manner of outdoor activities geared to appreciate the spectacular scenery. The resort is also close to golf courses, an adventure park, galleries and local wineries. No wonder it's one of the state's most popular spots. |

| Things To Do |
A range of bikes are available to hire from reception. Something to suit everyone in sizes 20" to 26". Helmets and locks are provided with every hire. Hire available for half, full or multiple days. A kids club operates during January. Send the kids to the playground, have a hit at the volleyball net or shoot some hoops on the basketball ring. Cool off afterwards by the pool. Discover why Halls Gap is one of Victoria's leading tourist destinations. Areas of interest include: Activities: abseiling, horse riding, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing, and mountain biking. Bush walking - pick from a large network of trails, including Venus Baths, Boronia Peak, Chatauqua, Hollow Mountain, Grand Canyon and the Wonderland Ranges. Brambuk Cultural Centre - join a tour of the many ancient rock art sites in the area. Visit Reeds Lookout, the Balconies, Boroka Lookout, MacKenzie Falls and the Zumstein picnic ground. Take the Grampians scenic road through the ranges, past Mount Abrupt to the quiet little town of Dunkeld. Lake Bellfield and Lake Wartook- for fishing and canoeing enthusiasts. |
