Alpine Valley Cottages are luxury self-contained cottages with two person corner spas and woodfires. They are rated AAA four and a half stars.2 brand new miners cottages (one and two bedroom)were built in 2009.Also three and four bedroom cottages available accommodating 2 to 8 guests. Alpine Cottages are located on the Murray to Mountain Rail Trail ten minutes stroll from the shops and restaurants of Bright. Separate to Alpine Valley Cottages we have standard 1 and 2 bed holiday units at Highland Valley Holiday Units without spa and woodfire. These units are located at 14 Gavan St (Gt Alpine Rd) and are adjacent to and share facilities with Alpine Valley Cottages. These standard one/two bedroom holiday units are also listed under Highland Valley on this site. NO PETS. |

| Getting There |
Car access to Alpine Valley Cottages is from Alexandra Court, pedestrian access from here, from Gavan St or from the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. You need to check in and collect your keys at the office of Highland Valley Holiday Units 14 Gavan St (Great Alpine Road). Highland Valley Holiday Units are 500m passed the first 60 kph sign on your right as you enter Bright from the Wangaratta side of town. Units are 1km from the Bright shops. If you are booked into a standard unit it is at Highland Valley Holiday Units 14 Gavan St (Gt Alpine Rd) V-line bus connecting to train at Wangaratta and then Melbourne stops in centre of Bright. We can pick you up and drop you off in town |

Plenty of off-street parking for all cottages. Our three bedroom and four bedroom cottages have carports for one or two cars respectively. |
| Things To Do |
Bright located in the Ovens Valley of the Alpine High Country and is surrounded by forested hills, the high country and National Parks. Activities include bush walking, mountain bike riding, skiing and snow play in winter, paragliding, fishing, and hanggliding. You can visit trout farms, deer and emu farms, wineries, lavender and berry farms and enjoy the many and varied restaurants, cafes and antique and craft shops. Bright is well known for its brilliant autumn colours, sparkling clear spring days, shady riverside summer retreats and a choice of three snow resorts (Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham and Falls Creek) nearby in winter. |
