Ravenstone Hotel is a delightful country hotel set in over 2 acres of its own grounds, just 4 miles from Keswick and close to Bassenthwaite in the Lake District. There are spectacular views over Bassenthwaite Lake with open countryside for fell walking and sight seeing. You will find the hotel warm and welcoming providing everything needed to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. All 19 bedrooms have modern facilities to make for a pleasant stay. The restaurant serves a mix of traditional and modern dishes and an extensive wine cellar to suit all tastes. During a stay at the Ravenstone Hotel guests will experience comfort and luxury and the ultimate in personal service from a family run business. All 19 superb bedrooms are individually decorated to the highest level, including quality fabrics and crisp bed linens. The en-suite bathrooms come with soft touch towels and luxury soaps to provide guests with all they need for an enjoyable stay. Needless to say, all bedrooms have fantastic open country views of the Lake District. The Ravenstone Hotel provides an excellent selection of food made from the finest ingredients from around the world. Succulent cuts of meat and game, locally caught fish all sourced from Cumbria. Add to this the finest seasonal vegetables and aromatic herbs to ensure true indulgence. The cheese board lets you discover the variety of local produce available. To accompany your meal there is an extensive wine list available, selected by passionate wine lovers there is a varied assortment for any occasion. The Ravenstone Hotel strives to do everything they can to ensure that guest take pleasure in staying within their establishment. There is a varied selection of facilities to satisfy every requirement. And can cater for anybody requiring a relaxing time. Within the hotel there is a bar, games room and lounge. The bar is well stocked and has an open fire so guests can relax with their favourite tipple. Next door to the bar is the games room for if guests fancy something more challenging. From the M6 junction 40 – Follow the A66 West for 17 miles. At the roundabout at the bottom of the hill take the third exit onto the A591. The Ravenstone Hotel is approximately 4 miles on the right hand side. From Keswick Town Centre – At the mini roundabout at Tithebarn Street follow the A591 North. Turn right just before the Catholic Church still following the A591. You will soon approach a big roundabout in which you go straight across. Ravenstone Hotel is 4 miles on the right hand side. |
