Via Koh Samui. The quickest way to Koh Tao is by way of Bangkok Airways with fly direct from Bangkok to Koh Samui, then take 1.5 hrs.boat to Koh Tao it is very simple by either train or a comfortable VIP bus from Bangkok. The bus and train take about 6 hours, then take 1.5 hrs. boat to Koh Tao. Newest way of transport to Koh Tao is to travel by night ferry “MV.Talaysub” about 6 hrs. with comfortable bunk beds from Chumporn leaving every Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday night at 11pm. All 3 options can easily be booked through Montra Resort. Via Suratthani-Travellers from Phuket & Krabi typically pass through Suratthani and take a night boat to Koh Tao, which leaves Suratthani every night at 11pm. |
