Glyn, Lorraine and staff invite you to share our 18 uniquely affordable units and our cool resort style pool with inbuilt spa. Located on the Charlton Esplanade, approximately 1.6 kilometres from the historic Urangan Pier with beach less than 90 seconds from your door, the Hervey Bay Motel has the perfect location for shopping, dining, clubbing or visiting World Heritage Listed Fraser Island, Great Barrier Reef - Lady Elliot Island ECO Resort, whale watching, sky diving and the enjoyment of what Hervey Bay has to offer. We have just completed a million dollar four star refit of our deluxe and standard units. All of our units have modern décor, luxurious queen size beds with pillow tops, fast broadband internet connection, reverse cycle air-conditioning, frost free refrigerators, microwave ovens and toasters. While our deluxe units include, all of the above plus kitchenettes, quality lighting, HDTV and DVD/CD players. For your convenience we have a coin operated laundry and separate barbecue with seating for twenty people. Make a booking now, Glyn or Lorraine will fill your accommodation needs and make the necessary day tour arrangements. With one simple eMail you can book a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island or Whale Watching during the season. ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED. |

A deluxe room boasts a state-of-the-art HDTV, AUSTAR and DVD/CD player and furnished with style, comfort and relaxation in mind. Luxurious queen size bed with pillow tops, fast broadband internet connection with fully equipped kitchenette. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $15.00. Extra children $11.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

| Getting There |
Driving from Brisbane, Hervey Bay is a comfortable 3½ hour drive along the Bruce Highway, 270km from Brisbane Airport and just 2½ hours from the Sunshine Coast. Exit at Maryborough and follow the signs to Hervey Bay. Driving from Cairns, it is a little further, but once you reach Rockhampton, Hervey Bay is just 4 hours away, a comfortable scenic drive along the Bruce Highway. Exit at Howard/Torbanlea and follow the signs to Hervey Bay. Entry into Hervey Bay is on Boat Harbour Drive, pass ©McDonalds, ©Pizza Hut and ©KFC, pass through the various roundabouts and traffic lights 6.7kms until you reach the last roundabout at Woolworths Urangan Central, turn left - Elizabeth Street - down onto the Charlton Esplanade turn left first motel on the left opposite the beach, you can not miss us. ©Jetstar and ©Virgin Blue offer direct 1½ hour flights from Sydney, ©QANTAS offers direct flights from Brisbane, we are only seven minutes from the Fraser Coast Airport. If you hire a car exit the airport, turn left onto Elizabeth Street 5kms left onto the Charlton Esplanade first motel on the left. A transfer can be arranged, give us a call from the airport when you arrive we will pick you up. Only two minutes from the Boat Harbour turn into Miller Street opposite the Boat Club at the tee intersection turn right - Elizabeth Street - down onto the Charlton Esplanade turn left first motel on the left. The QR Tilt Train offers fast, comfortable travel north from Brisbane and south from Cairns, stopping at Maryborough West, with a link to Hervey Bay. A Trainlink coach provides a transfer to and from our accommodation, ask your travel agent for details. Hervey Bay has a coach terminal servicing all points north and south. A transfer can be arranged, give us a call from the coach terminal when you arrive and we will pick you up. |

Undercover Car parking is available in front of your unit for most of our guests. Please ask when booking. Small trucks, 4WDs, camping and boat trailers are welcome to take advantage of our off-street parking. Additional parking is also available should you choose to extend your stay on Fraser or Lady Elliot Islands. Heavy vehicles and buses can park in Margaret Street beside the motel. |
