EXCLUSIVE VINEYARD STAY The 38-acres Barossa Shiraz Estate has evolved with the history of the Barossa. The 1840s homestead, originally a Cobb and Co stage coach, has been developed into two stunning private and fully self-contained cottages, the Residence and the Willows. A sensitive blend of history and luxury has transformed the homestead to one of the finest B&Bs in South Australia. Described in Vine and Orchards of South Australia (1920s), “the view from the veranda is very beautiful, looking west, north, and east, over valleys and hills, and vineyards and orchards, and the picturesque scenery is of a type of which one would never tire.” THE RESIDENCE: Is a luxury, fully self-contained and private vineyard cottage with serene surroundings & sensational views over the Barossa vineyards and the Ranges beyond. It displays the elegance of a rich past with 12-foot ceilings, polished floors, leadlight windows, a lounge with open fire in winter, and is decorated in grand style with elegant furnishings. The Residence has a gorgeous master bedroom with luxurious ensuite featuring a large oval spa bath for 2, modern kitchen facilities, veranda and outdoor setting, r/c air conditioning, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, TV, DVD, CD units and free hire in house DVDs. The Comfortable queen bed is dressed in fine white pressed linen and electric blanket. Quality guest amenities provided. RATES: The Residence has 1 bedroom and 1 double sofa bed in the lounge and can cater for a maximum of 4 people. The rates displayed are for one couple per night using one queen bed (extra $25 per night if the couple requires separate beds). Extra adult guests, $75 per adult per night. Children 0-4, $25 per child per night. Children 5-12, $45 per child per night. COMPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS FOR 2 NIGHTS STAY INCLUDE: A bottle of Estate's wine, a decanter of port, welcoming afternoon tea and bedside chocolates on arrival. Full provisions for self catering breakfast for the duration of stay include: eggs, gourmet bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, orange juice, low fat milk, fresh local bread, butter, jam, cereals, tea, coffee and biscuits. COMPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS FOR 1 NIGHT STAY INCLUDE: A decanter of port, welcoming afternoon tea and bedside chocolates on arrival. Provisions for self catering cooked breakfast include: eggs, gourmet bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, orange juice, low fat milk, fresh local bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee and biscuits. To maintain a high standard of food hygiene, individually sealed supply packages will be provided where possible. EXTRAS: Gourmet regional food platters, Barossa wine tours, flowers, and in-room massage can be arranged at extra cost on request received at least 3 days to your arrival. Restaurant bookings can also be arranged. DISCOUNTS: Discounts are available to the Barossa Shiraz Estate guests when purchasing Estate's wine or dine in local restaurants. The cottages are located on Six Gates vineyard, 294 Barossa Valley Way, Lyndoch SA 5351. If travelling via the town of Gawler: Drive 13km from the T-junction of Murray Street and Barossa Valley Way in Gawler towards Lyndoch and look for the Six Gates sign on the right. If travelling via the town of Lyndoch: Drive 1.7km from the junction of Gilbert Street and Barossa Valley Way in Lyndoch. and look for the Six Gates sign on the left. Please bring a copy of your booking confirmation letter with you for reference to the booking and property's address details. |
