Centrally located within a 200m stroll to the heart of town and adjacent to one of Byron’s most famous surfing breaks "The Wreck", Bay Haven Lodge is a fully renovated and modernised traditional Whaler’s Cottage and is the only one of its kind offering guest accommodation in Byron. Purposely built for the forefathers of yesteryears whaling industry, this beautifuly appointed property provides magnificent originality and character. Featuring high set ceilings, polished teak floorboards, natural stone ensuites, granite vanities, timber windows, bi-folds and French doors, and all with the modern fixtures one would expect like reverse cycle air conditioning, remote control ceiling fans, dimmable down lighting, large mirrors, 81cm LCD screens, DVD player, choice of shower heads and tea/coffee facilities. The lodge has an expansive sunroom which has been converted into a guest area, beautifuly fitted with leather lounge suites, and a large guest fridge. A fantastic area to simply sit, unwind and enjoy a great book. The wall to wall bi-fold doors of the sunroom open on to the tranquil Balinese garden were you can have a BBQ, lounge by the water feature, enjoy a morning coffee or just relax in peace and soak up the romantic tropical north atmosphere. The Garden suites have the added luxury of opening onto the sunroom, offering direct access to the gardens where enjoying a glass of red by a dimly lit garden, or in the privacy of your own room is always a treat. At Bayhaven we aim to provide a slice of the bays traditional tranquility in true character of the property itself. Our Lodge is best enjoyed by couples or persons whom are seeking a slice of that peace and serinity whilst having all of the wonderful benifits of having everything Byron has to offer literally at your doorstep. |

| Getting There |
Bay Haven Lodge is located at 16 Shirley St, Byron Bay. Shirley Street is the main street northbound out of town. Allow 45 minutes to Coolangatta International Airport or 30 minutes to Byron/Ballina Airport. Airport shuttles run from both of these ports on a daily basis and will drop you to our door. |

Byron Bay is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and pristine beaches. Chill out or go nuts, the options are endless. For those inclined to a low key and peaceful getaway you may find the following appealing: - Town centre has fantastic dining opportunities. Great cafes & restaurants abound. - Exclusive clothing and fashion shops for the retail therapist. - Splendid art studios and galleries with numerous festivals throughout the year. - Weekend craft and thrift markets. - Hinterland and waterfall tours - Walk Australia’s most easterly point, The Lighthouse and watch a sunrise/sunset. - Massage, Remedial, Detox Therapies. Yoga - Tea tree lakes, Golf, or just unwind & read a book on the golden sands of the bay.
