The Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel is a 4 star property newly renovated around a mock Tudor mansion. The hotel boasts 31 larger than average bedrooms, all with a spacious walk in wet room. Although only 2 miles from Stansted Airport, our surrounding countryside & lake view make for a very scenic surrounding. Our hotel is complimented by Anton’s lakeside restaurant, overseen by renowned Chef Patron Anton Edelmann, specialising in seasonal, locally sourced produce. We also aim to become as carbon neutral as possible via a number of initiatives including bio diesel fuel heating and under ground water pumps. We have recently been awarded the Environmental Best Practice Award by the HBAA. The hotel has superb rail links to both Cambridge and London. Nearby attractions include Great Leighs Racecourse, Colchester Zoo [25 miles] and the ancient market towns of Thaxted and Great Dunmow. The hotel offers complimentary HSIA in all bedrooms. |

From the airport terminal, take the one way road [only available route] towards the first roundabout. Take the 3rd exit towards A120 / M11 Bishops Stortford. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit, following on towards A120 / M11. At the next roundabout follow straight on [2nd exit] towards A120 / M11 Bishops Stortford. Join the A120 and stay in the left hand lane. Do not follow the M11 south. Take the first exit towards A120 Bishops Stortford and at the next roundabout take the first exit towards Bishops Stortford. Stay in the left hand lane and at the first set of lights take the first exit left towards Takeley. Drive 100 yards and take the first right opposite the petrol station. The Great Hallingbury Manor hotel is 1/2 mile down this road on the left. |
