Avocado Grove B&B offers you a warm welcome, quality bed and breakfast accommodation, in peaceful leafy surroundings. We are located in Flaxton near Montville on the beautiful Blackall Range. Avocado Grove was originally part of an extensive avocado orchard. We have retained many of the original trees which still produce a healthy crop. As well as these, we have other fruit trees including: citrus, lychee and custard apple. The house is a modern Queenslander with verandas on all sides and is surrounded by landscaped gardens. There are four rooms available for guests, all with ensuites or a private bathroom. The guest lounge is equipped with TV and stereo, books, games, a port barrel and a fireplace for those cold Winter nights. The guest lounge is airconditioned. There are beautiful views of the Great Dividing Range from the veranda and the sunsets can be truly spectacular. Our rooms are all equipped with ceiling fans and heaters, toiletries, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities and robes. Beds are either Queen or King. Two of the rooms can also be converted to twin beds. The owner/chef has trained with the Le Cordon Bleu School in Sydney and will be delighted to provide dinner for you. Anything from simple to sumptuous. (Pre booking essential). |

The 'Africa' Suite
For those who enjoy their privacy, our 'Africa' suite is a great option. There is a lounge area and patio which overlooks the garden and fish pond. The 'Africa' suite is directly accessible to the car parking area. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $45.00. Extra children $45.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

| Getting There |
We are easy to find, and are located approximately 60 minutes north of Brisbane. From the Bruce Highway take the Landsbourough exit (Steve Irwin Way) and proceed up the range. Turn right at the Montville turnoff and follow this road through to Flaxton. From the north or the Sunshine Coast, take the Nambour exit and follow the signs to Mapleton, and then onto Flaxton. |

| Things To Do |
Avocado Grove is within easy reach of all the area has to offer. We are located approximately 6kms from the lovely Montville Village, a shopping and dining delight. For those who prefer more active pursuits, there are many national parks and bush walking tracks nearby. Test your fitness level on the 'Great! Walks' from Baroon Pocket Dam to the Kondililla falls. The world famous Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Noosa beaches, Australia Zoo and the Eumundi Markets are all only 35 to 45 minutes away. For the food, art and wine lovers, there are four wineries and two cheese factories in the area, as well as an extensive gallery trail. The area boasts boutique food stores, fudge shops and delicatessens. |
