Cameron Highlands Resort is situated on the largest hill retreat in Malaysia, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, lush greenery, rolling hills and Tudor-styled cottages. The luxurious boutique Resort features 56 beautifully-appointed rooms and suites, and fronts Cameron Highlands' 18-hole golf course. It also houses the third wellness centre of the award-winning Spa Village group, which offers exotic treatments focusing on the healing and restorative properties of tea. Located in the state of Pahang, approximately 200 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands is a beautiful holiday destination and the only place where you can find tea plantations and strawberries in Malaysia. At about 1,500 metres above sea level, it is the highest area on the mainland and enjoys a cool climate and fresh air, with temperatures ranging between 15° and 25° Celsius. Much of the character of the highlands remains unchanged since colonial times. It is endearingly known to some as the 'little corner of England in Asia'. The cool climate on the picturesque plateau and its surrounding hills and forest make this a popular retreat for golfing, jungle trekking and exploration of the many plantations and gardens. Cameron Highlands Resort is ideal all year round for families, honeymooners and holidaymakers out to satiate their appetites for trails, tales and tradition. |

| Getting There |
Directions By Road - From The South of Cameron Highlands 1. To drive up Cameron Highlands from the South, take the North-South Expressway and head up north. 2. You will pass the following towns along the North-South Expressway: Rawang - Tanjung Malim - Slim River - Sungkai - Bikam - Bidor - Tapah - Gopeng - Simpang Pulai. 3. There are two roads leading up to Cameron Highlands. One is the old road from Tapah town and another from Simpang Pulai, which is the new route. Tapah Exit There are some narrow and sharp turns that you have to be careful of if you are taking this route from Tapah. Sound the horn if you feel you need to let oncoming traffic know of your existence behind that sharp bend. There will also be heavy vehicles going up and down this road, so be careful when overtaking another car. There is no mobile phone coverage for most the way up Cameron Highlands and you will find interesting stalls along the road where the Orang Asli display their handicraft and forest products for sale. Exit the Tapah Interchange (Exit 132) on the North-South Expressway after passing Bidor town. At the traffic lights right after the tollbooth, turn left and follow the road all the way up to Cameron Highlands. Simpang Pulai Exit (recommended route) The new route from Simpang Pulai is less winding and the road is wider. As such, drivers tend to speed here, but watch out for the sharp bends at some stretches. There is no mobile phone coverage along this route up Cameron Highlands and the driving time is longer compared to the route from Tapah. From the North-South Expressway, exit at the Simpang Pulai interchange (Exit 137). Turn right and follow the road signs up Cameron Highlands. You will pass by Kampung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap and Brinchang before reaching Cameron Highlands Resort in Tanah Rata. Directions By Road - From The North of Cameron Highlands 1. If you are coming from the states up North of Peninsula Malaysia, head down south towards Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Expressway. 2. Exit the Simpang Pulai interchange (Exit 137). Turn right and follow the road signs up Cameron Highlands. You will pass by Kampung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap and Brinchang before reaching Cameron Highlands Resort in Tanah Rata. |
