There are 2 routes – Sukhumvit Line & Silom Line – which cover much of the city center. Trains run daily between 6.00am and 12.00midnight with frequent services in the day and an increase in frequency during rush hour. Bargain before hopping on board and beware offers at unbelievably low prices, a set up to lure you to overpriced souvenir or jewelry shops. Approximate cost for a short 10 minute ride is around THB 40 - 100.
