The Moonraker Motor Inn is situated on the Newell Highway on Parkes` northern outskirts, 900 metres north of the Post Office and 800 metres north of the main shopping centre. Parkes is 364km west of Sydney, 708 km from Melbourne, 1050km from Adelaide, 1050km from Brisbane and 280km from Canberra. Forbes is 33km south, Dubbo 118km north and Orange 100km east. Parkes Airport is 5km east of Parkes and 7km from the motel (Cab fare is approximately $12.00). Parkes Railway Station is 2km south of Moonraker Motor Inn. The main coach terminal on Forbes Road is 3km from the motel. |
