By Air - The Rockhampton Airport is well serviced with multiple flights to and from Brisbane daily, direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne. Airlines flying into Rockhampton include QantasLink, Virgin Blue, Tiger Airways and Jetstar. For direct services the fly time from: Brisbane is just 55 minutes. Sydney is just 1hr 45mins. Melbourne is 2hr 30mins By Coach and Bus - Greyhound Australia operates from the central bus terminal in Rockhampton with multiple services connecting Rockhampton with Brisbane and Cairns daily. By Rail - Queensland Rail’s Travel Train operates train services daily to Rockhampton from Brisbane and Cairn. High speed tilt-train services run four times per week between Brisbane and Cairns. The ‘Sunlander’ and ‘Spirit of the Outback’ trains also run via Rockhampton. By Road - Major highways link the Capricorn Coast with all parts of Queensland and the Southern States, these include: - Great Inland Way - Bruce Highway and Pacific Coast Touring Route - Leichhardt Highway - Australia’s Country Way - Capricorn Highway All Seaspray Resort & Spa guests arriving in Rockhampton by air, rail or coach will be met by our complimentary return shuttle service. Two heated swimming pools to choose from. Or, if swimming in the ocean is more your thing, just around the corner from Seaspray Resort & Spa (on the main beachfront at Emu Park) is the Emu Park Surf Lifesaving Club. The Club patrols the beach every weekend and public holiday between September and May. Nature Hikes - The Cocoanut Point Headland, Cocoanut Point National Park and Wetlands Reserve are just perfect for Nature Hikes. Tennis - Lessons, clinics, match arrangement service, and rental equipment are all available on four flood lit courts. Three of the courts are of competition standard whilst the 4th combines as a tennis/netball/basketball court. Mountain Biking - Mountain Bikes are available for hire from The Rec Club. Sea Kayaking - Enjoy the fun and freedom of sea kayaking on the open ocean with our Rec Club Team for a half day adventure traversing the Emu Park and Zilzie coastline. Group Classes - The Rec Club offers a broad range of group activities for Resort Guests guaranteed to excite - belly dancing, kayaking, line dancing, yoga, pilates, fit ball, boxercise, pump, aqua aerobics and spin cycle. The Rec Club Creche - While you use our fitness facilities, our friendly and experienced staff will make sure your child is safe and happy with development opportunities for young children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. On the Water - Experience the fantastic cruising grounds and top dive and fishing spots of the Keppel group of Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Golf - The Capricorn region boasts a number of golf clubs set in picturesque surrounds. Surfing - Emu Park is one of the better surf beaches between Yeppoon and Zilzie. Attractions - The beautiful Capricorn Coast with 15 beaches stretching between Seaspray and Yeppoon.
