All of the 25 rooms and suites are individually designed, have their own distinctive style and personality and are complimented with eclectic furniture. The décor is a celebration of contemporary New Zealand art and design, with hints of the hotel’s art deco past.

Luxurious beds feature hand screen printed throws, 100% cotton bed linen and goose down mattress comfort layer; probably the most comfortable beds in Auckland!

Bathrooms feature stand alone showers with both rainhead and slide shower heads, most including divinely deep bath. Enjoy salon quality dryers, underfloor heating, magnifying mirrors, mirror demisters and both velvet and toweling robes.

The central glass-roofed atrium provides stunning public space with highly-acclaimed 'DeBrett's Kitchen' restaurant, courtyard and the famous ‘Housebar’. Guests have exclusive use of a sumptuous drawing room complete with library and honesty bar - a perfect place to mix and mingle over a pre-dinner hosted drink, complementary with your tariff as is a continental breakfast.

Hotel Debrett is a short walk from the restaurants and bars of Viaduct Harbour, the Sky Tower, and the Ferry Building. It is surrounded by art galleries, theatres and the Auckland Art Gallery and is within easy reach of the Auckland Museum and the shopping and restaurants of Parnell and Ponsonby.

Hotel DeBrett has won awards for design and service including the “New Zealand Architecture Award for Heritage and Conservation” and our restaurant, ‘DeBrett's Kitchen’, was awarded “2009 Metro Best New Restaurant” and it was also awarded NZ Restaurant of the year Finalist 2011 in Cuisine Magazine.

Getting There Hotel DeBrett is on the corner of High Street and Shortland Streets in downtown Auckland and is about 25km north west of Auckland Airport. A taxi fare could cost from NZ$60 - NZ$80 depending on time of day and taxi company.

If travelling by private car from the airport, follow the George Bolt Memorial Drive onto the motorway and head towards the city. Take the Hillsborough turn-off and turn right onto Manukau Road. Continue until you reach Newmarket. At the lights, turn left and drive to the end of the street. Turn right at the lights into Gillies Avenue and back onto the motorway. Travel north and take the Nelson Street exit. Follow Nelson Street to the end and turn right into Victoria Street. Then turn left into Queen St. Turn right into Shortland St, then take the first right into High St.
Parking Valet car parking available at NZ$25 per day.
