Opened in 2001 this Small Luxury Hotel of the World contains five beautifully appointed double suites while our Lakefront Cottage contains another four suites designed with couples or families in mind. Both are situated directly on the lakefront with stunning views of Queenstown Bay and the mountains beyond. The historic hotel reflects contemporary provincial elegance, its modern features in perfect harmony with the distinctive antiques and luxurious furnishings of this New Zealand icon. All reservations include a full breakfast daily, valet parking, and complimentary broadband The hotel is also the home to Eichardt's renowned House Bar, with its comfortable sofas, cosy fireplace and gracious service, is an inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy premium cocktails and some of the area's finest cuisine. Here, cocktails are served by top New Zealand bar people who put passion into every drink they create. While our chefs serve wonderful meals from fresh and organic produce sourced from the very best growers, farmers, fishers and hunters in the region. The suite features stunning lake views with a super-king bed, fireplace and mini-bar, a dressing room and bathroom with generous bath and double vanity, separate shower heated mirror and floor. Each suite is 70 m2. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $250.00. Extra children $250.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total. | Getting There |
Our closest airport is the Queenstown International Airport. From here we can arrange to have you collected, you could hire a car or come via taxi to the hotel. Eichardt's is 7.9 kms from the airport. Leave the airport after 0.1 km go into roundabout, take exit 2 onto Lucas Pl. After 0.1 km go into roundabout, take exit 2 onto Kawarau Rd. After 0.7 km, go left onto Frankton Rd. After 5.8 km, carry on around to the right onto Stanley St. After 0.5 km go into roundabout, take exit 2 continuing on Stanley St. After 0.1 km go into roundabout, take exit 1 onto Shotover St. After 94 m go into roundabout, take exit 2 continuing on Shotover St. After 0.1 km go into roundabout, take exit 1 onto Rees St at the end of the street see a large white building which is Eichardt’s. After 0.1 km, go straight onto Marine Parade. Park in the loading zone opposite the hotel and make your way to reception which is at the southern end of the building in the glass atrium. |

Queenstown is renowned for what you can do. Our team are here to make your stay in Queenstown all you want it to be. They can organize scenic flights to Milford Sounds, with glacier landings and boat cruises of the Sounds. Day hikes in our wonderful forest parks either alone or with a guide it is a wonderful way to enjoy our pristine environment, or you may wish to see it at a slightly faster pace like on a mountain bike. Known for adventure there is everything you can imagine available, a thrilling jet boat ride, bungy jumping, skydiving, white water rafting and on and on. Or for those just wishing to relax we have wonderful in-house spa services, wine tours and some wonderful gallery’s that can be visited. If you are a golfer Queenstown is the place to play. Home to the New Zealand Open we have access to some of the most stunning courses you will find in New Zealand. There is a course for everyone in Queenstown or play a different one every day. If winter is your thing we have some wonderful skiing with four ski fields within 30 minutes to an hour’s drive of the hotel. If you would like a little more excitement then Heli-skiing will take your breath away. The choice is yours just let us know what you wish to achieve and we will do our best to ensure it happens. |
