The Newtown Park Motel has 14 3½ star AAA rated rooms. We offer you a choice of a variety of rooms - Single, Double, Twin and 2 roomed Family units. All rooms are at ground level with parking in front of the door. Set in a pleasing shaded garden/courtyard setting, the Newtown Park Motel is, clean, quiet and comfortable ensuring you a good, quiet nights rest. All rooms have R/C Air conditioning, they also contain direct dial phones, remote controlled TV, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, tea/coffee making facilities, toasters and mini bars. DVD players and a large range of DVD movies are also free and available on request. If required we can also provide you with a microwave to use during your stay with us. If a BBQ is more to your liking you may choose to relax, unwind and use the Newtown Park Motels gas BBQ located in the tranquil courtyard setting. Cooking utensils can be provided on request. What ever your choice, if you wish to relax and unwind but at the same time prefer venues and attractions only a few minutes walk away, let the staff of the Newtown Park Motel accommodate you. We are situated just a short leisurely 15minute walk to the town centre. Also within walking distance you will find a variety of restaurant and fast food outlets. Newtown Park Motel is 267km or approximately 3hrs from Melbourne and the Airport, via the Hume Freeway, Great Alpine Road and Wangaratta-Beechworth Road. Situated on the main road from Melbourne, we are the first Motel on the left hand side. V-Line trains run from Melbourne to Wangaratta, from there connect with the bus service to Beechworth and the bus driver will stop outside our Newtown Park Motel for anyone wanting to get off. We are 1.2km from the Beechworth Post Office. There is also a bus service to Albury/Wodonga (approximately 40min - 38km). |
