| Getting There |
The Telegraph Retreat Luxury Country Cottages are located just four hours drive north of the Sydney CBD, and 15 minutes north of the coastal tourist town of Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of New South Wales. Port Macquarie is the perfect stop over or short break holiday destination halfway between Sydney NSW and Brisbane Qld. When travelling north on the Pacific Highway, pass the two exits to Port Macquarie and continue north on the Pacific Highway over the Wilson River bridge. At the first road junction north of the Wilson River, follow the blue directional sign that reads "Telegraph Retreat Country Accommodation". Other signs direct to "Rollands Plains & Telegraph Point". Immediately after turning from the highway, take the left turn into Cooperabung Drive, following the second blue directional sign. Follow this road, which loops back under the Pacific Highway and undulates for approximately four kilometres, and then turn left into Federation Way. A short 1.2km drive and you will see the sign outside Telegraph Retreat on your right. The Port Macquarie area on the mid north coast of NSW Australia is serviced by regular passenger aircraft, rail and bus services for which we offer a complimentary pickup and return. |
