Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing is 40 minutes from Beijing Capital International Airport. As traffic can be very hectic around the airport, pre-arranged transportation is recommended, especially for first-time visitors to Beijing. All taxis in Beijing are cheap and plentiful, and always on the lookout for customers. Most taxis are metered with the same start up rate at RMB10 for the first 3KM, thereafter RMB2 per km. Taxis are available at the hotel or may be hailed from the street. |
