Opened in 1968, the charming 119-room Tivoli Jardim, enjoys a privileged location, practically on Lisbon's Av. da Liberdade and next to the larger Tivoli Lisboa. Whilst offering a personal touch and service, it maintains the high standards of hospitality to be expected of a Tivoli Hotels and also shares some of the larger hotel's magnificent facilities, such as the "Club Tivoli". All these explain its popularity and why it is so sought after by businessmen and individual travellers, the world over. JARDIM RESTAURANT Located on near the hotel lobby and with direct access from the street, it serves buffet breakfast in the morning and at lunch and dinner, an extensive à la carte menu of traditional Portuguese cuisine. The restaurant holds 80 people. LOBBY-BAR Located in the hall, it is welcomes every guest with its comfortable and familiar furnishings. SPORTS AND LEISURE FACILITIES The Tivoli Jardim shares a great deal of the first class facilities and services available at the Tivoli Lisboa, just next door. TIVOLI CLUB BAR The Tivoli Club is a luxurious tropical garden, with century-old trees and sheltered from the city hustle and bustle around the corner, by the two hotels, Tivoli Jardim and Tivoli Lisboa. Business FacilitiesThe Tivoli Jardim is equipped with one medium-sized meeting room, with full audiovisual material, available on request. However, the many meeting rooms of the adjacent Hotel Tivoli Lisboa are readily available and the two hotels are in fact co-managed.At the Tivoli Jardim, you control your own event. From North / or Lisbon International Airport: Take the Av. Marechal Craveiro Lopes (2ª Circular). Exit at Campo Grande, entering the Alameda do Campo Grande. Pass under Av. da República tunnels, until you reach the Paça Duque de Saldanha. Carry on straight ahead, along the Av. Fontes Pereira de Melo, and enter the large roundabout at Marquês de Pombal. Exit the roundabout on the second right, immediately entering the side lane, which runs parallel to the Av. da Liberdade. Having passed the large Tivoli Lisboa, which is on your right, turn first right. You then have to go left and the ramp to Tivoli Jardim's parking lot is on your right hand side. From Vasco da Gama bridge: Follow directions to the Av. Marechal Craveiro Lopes (2ª Circular) and then continue as indicated above, for Lisbon International Airport. From South (A2) Algarve via the 25 de Abril Bridge: Exit where you see the sign Town Centre, towards the Marquês de Pombal roundabout. Go straight ahead, up a hill and down again until you reach Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar (going down after a tunnel) until the last set of traffic lights, before the Marquês de Pombal roundabout. Having passed the large Tivoli Lisboa, which is on your right, turn first right. You then have to go left and the ramp to Tivoli Jardim's parking lot is on your right hand side. |

Lisbon can best be seen by strolling through the typical neighbourhoods of Alfama or Bairro Alto, hopping on board a tram, taking a boat along the river, or even by using Lisbon's underground, with its decorative stations, many of which are true works of art by well-known Portuguese artists. Apart from the vast choice of museums throughout the city, a visit to Belém - west of the city - is an absolute must, with its gardens, the Torre de Belém and the Jerónimos Monastery, both classified by UNESCO as world heritage. Next door, the modern Centro Cultural de Belém, the 18th century Coach Museum and the never-to-be-forgotten local pastries, the Pastéis de Belém. East of the city, the brand new Parque das Nações (ex-Expo'98) with a variety of leisure attractions, including the Oceanarium, widely considered o be one of the best in the world.
