Our 24 room Motel and Restaurant is surrounded by tropical gardens and a BBQ area with salt water swimming pool. Every room has been equipped with state-of-the-art technology including free Broadband Internet access, LCD screens with free Austar TV, access to DVD and CD players. *Please note that we only have one designated pet friendly room available, conditions apply! Tropixx Motel is lifting the standards of accommodation on offer in Ingham with its modern Australian Restaurant that caters for all tastes, its disabled accommodation and facilities, and also with a designated pet friendly room. Our fully licensed restaurant is open for Hotel guests and to the general public from 7AM till 9PM seven days a week. The team of Tropixx Restaurant will ensure the food and beverage will exceed your expectations while meeting your budget. With our international culinary experience, we only provide the highest quality food, beverages and services to a wide range of clientele, both private and corporate. Ingham is the hub of the Hinchinbrook Shire and the main service centre for the satellite communities around the district. The town offers a unique shopping experience with a traditional Mediterranean flavour reflecting Ingham’s multicultural society. In May every year the streets of Ingham come alive with colour and culture that is the Australian-Italian Festival with the motto "eat, drink and celebrate". This is only one of the many events that Ingham hosts throughout every year. |

| Getting There |
All major car hire companies are available in Townsville & Cairns. Driving from Townsville; head north towards the Ingham town centre till you get to Cooper Street. We are on the left side of Townsville Road. From Cairns; on arrival in Ingham, head south through the town centre. Follow Townsville road till you get to Cooper Street. Tropixx Motel is on the right hand side of the road. Qantas Jetstar and Virgin Blue have regular flights to Townsville and Cairns from locations such as Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Melbourne. Greyhound daily service between Brisbane & Cairns stops at Ingham, about 200 metres from the Motel. |

| Things To Do |
TYTO Wetlands Visitors Information Centre is right across the road from Tropixx Motel and it should be the first port of call for information on things to see and do in Ingham and the surrounding area. The centre is also the gateway to the Tyto wetlands itself specially designed to attract and accommodate 187 different species of birdlife. Wallaman Falls, Girringun National park; about an hour comfortable drive from Tropixx Motel offering gorge scenery, tropical rainforest, wetlands and woodlands in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The iconic Wallaman Falls is Australia’s highest permanent single drop waterfall, dropping 268m in a clear fall. Forrest Beach, Lucinda, Taylors Beach; cosy coastal villages at the southern end of the Hinchinbrook Channel all a short drive away from Tropixx Motel offering beautiful sandy beaches and the finest fishing spots of the region. Hinchinbrook coast is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the breathtaking Hinchinbrook, Orpheus, Pelorus, and Palm Islands. |
