Take a short walk to the Sebastian Street Gay Beach, or just relax, read a book or meet your future friends in our tropical, clothing optional courtyard and pool area. Our heated pool (90 degrees F. and 32 degrees C.) is always open for 24 hours and is inviting after a night of dining and dancing at our 30+ Gay bars and clubs as well as dining in one of our 15 exclusively gay owned and operated restaurants. Plus, in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area, you will find many gay owned and operated, boutiques and shops, as well as state of the art gyms and bath houses. Come, stay at the Orton Terrace and enjoy the Fort Lauderdale experience from swimming in the ocean or our pool to fine dining, shopping, cultural events and our many bars and clubs. Our in-room amenities include all the basics such as; color cable TV with VCR, telephone with private answering machine, free Wi-Fi access, FM stereo, refrigerator, microwave, private bathroom with shower, and much, Much MORE... Plus, at this private and secure resort, just outside your spacious Guest Room or Apartment you will find a relaxing and friendly atmosphere with even more amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable.... In the morning, you can treat yourself to our extensive complimentary Continental Breakfast served daily from 8am to 12pm (noon) in the Hospitality Room which provides the perfect place to mingle with other guests and meet new friends. We provide a wide variety of breads, yogurts, Danish rolls, muffins, cereals as well as fresh coffee and Tropicana Grovestand Orange Juice. Or, use the guest computer with high-speed Internet access to check your email, browse the net or chat online. Our Hospitality Room has 2 guest computers connected to the Internet via a high-speed DSL connection, Wireless Internet access is also available in every room. Then, with plenty of warm Florida sunshine, take a moment to lounge around and relax amidst lush tropical foliage within our clothing optional courtyard and heated pool area getting that all over tan, before grabbing a beach towel and taking a short walk along the Beach's Promenade while heading to the Sebastian Street Gay Beach. If you have shopping or eating on your mind, head over to Las Olas Blvd. or Wilton Manors. Where you're sure to enjoy yourself. The resort consists of 13 units, plus an office and hospitality room. There are 2 buildings each with 2 stories. All of the rooms open inward toward the private clothing optional courtyard set between the two buildings. Primarily our guests are gay men. There is a wide range of ages represented and varies from week to week. No matter what the mix is at the moment, it's always friendly, casual and relaxed. We have a pool and it is heated in the winter months. The pool area and tropical courtyard are clothing optional. Smoking is only permitted outside not in any of our guestrooms. |

We are ideally located lust 325 yards (12 min. walk) from the Fort Lauderdale beach in the heart of the gay lodging district. Our great beach location puts you only a short drive or cab ride away from many of the gay owned and operated shopping establishments, bars, clubs, and restaurants that Fort Lauderdale has to offer. From Fort Lauderdale International Airport: Follow US 1 NORTH to 17th Street Causeway, turn RIGHT. 17th Street CSWY becomes A1A North. Turn LEFT onto Terramar Street. Then go 3 blocks to Orton Avenue, and turn RIGHT. Orton Terrace will be the second building on your right. From Miami International Airport: Follow I-95 NORTH to Sunrise Blvd heading EAST until reaching the Ocean at A1A (Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd). (see THEN) From I-75: Follow I-595 EAST to I-95 NORTH to Sunrise Blvd heading EAST until reaching the Ocean at A1A (Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd). (see THEN) From the Florida Turnpike or I-95: Exit at Sunrise Blvd. (SR 838) and head EAST until reaching the Ocean at A1A (Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd). (see THEN) Then: Turn RIGHT onto A1A, turn RIGHT onto Terramar Street. Go 3 blocks to Orton Avenue, and turn RIGHT. Orton Terrace will be the second building on your right.
