Bloo Lagoon is made up of 25 villas / homes and whilst some home-owners live residentially, others visit for specific parts of the year. A number of villas are therefore made available for short-term use and provide an ideal option for those seeking a conservation minded venue in harmony with its natural setting and surrounded by inspiring landscape, culture and community. Bloo Lagoon has implemented a number of sustainable management initiatives to protect and preserve local culture and tradition, natural resources, plant and animal life. This can be felt the moment you arrive at Bloo Lagoon where fresh, organic vegetables, fruits and medicines fill the landscape and birds sing from dusk till dawn. Unlike typical resorts, Bloo Lagoon provides a real sense of belonging and connectedness. The beautiful, practical traditional villas are fully self-contained with kitchens and integrate with the landscape and the views. Everyone is welcomed, from families to couples to individuals and each villa provides privacy and seclusion with easy access to the pool, restaurant, spa, general facilities wonderful local tours, experimental workshops and events scheduled through-out the year. If you wish to experience the real Bali in a conscious and committed way, within a truly magical and special setting and without all the traffic, crowds and commerce, Bloo Lagoon could be your home away from home. The site has been developed very carefully to protect the trees, views and ecosystems. We shall recycle water from our water gardens to create topsoil, and to form fertile garden areas. Lots average around 200sqm with the homes varying from 70 to 125sqm. We retain a lot of land for community use. The design uses a combination of very efficient and careful design, simplicity and local skills combined with long life materials and western detail. The structure is of ironwood or concrete, the roofs are of Alang Alang thatch and bamboo. Solar, permaculture and biological waste water treatment and other self sustaining technologies are introduced wherever possible. The design philosophy both eliminates waste and allows us to use the earths’ resources much more frugally and sensitively. Tropical living allows you to use the outdoors as your living room, the terraces, gardens, decks and covered patios are your living space and wherever possible we integrate gardens into “rooms”. Diving Package
Stay in 2 bed-room villa for 3 night includes a day dives (2x dive) or scuba diving for beginner so everybody can go dive. The price inclusive daily sumptuous breakfast, 15% tax and service charge, welcome drink n fruit basket on arrival. Rates are for 4 people. We have a concierge to help you plan your stay and help you with your specific needs, set up tours, trips, diving, boating, art, transportation, car rental, etc. We shall do our best to connect you with events and people in that area. We can introduce you to musical instrument/gamelan makers, mask carvers, goldsmiths, stone carvers, boat builders, etc. If you think that your interests in music, dance, art, agriculture, the oceans, etc. would be of interest to other guests and the people of Padangbai, please let us know and we will set up a performance, lecture or demonstration. Please bring photos, videos and props. We have a performance space, video projection facilities, meeting rooms and exhibit space at your disposal. |
