Queensland Motel is situated in a peaceful sub-tropical surrounding located on the corner of Main and Anglesey Street Kangaroo Point, Queensland. We are conveniently situated within a three minute walk to the Gabba Cricket Ground, home of the Brisbane Lions and Queensland Bulls. Queensland Motel offers 30 motel style units over three levels. All rooms have been fully refurbished. The motel rooms offer a spacious living area and comfortable atmosphere. All rooms have a private balcony facing north which catches the breeze and some units have private courtyards. Room Features Choice of Double, Twin, Treble and Family rooms All rooms have Foxtel, air conditioning, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities Rooms serviced daily Weekly rates available Hair dryers available on request Restaurants – all within a three minute walk Pineapple Hotel, Thai, Malaysian, Spizzico – Italian, McDonald’s, KFC and a 24 hour stop and shop which includes Subway, Bakery and Newsagency. Shopping within a three minute walk Coles Supermarket, Brisbane Lions AFL Shop, retail shops and local chemist within a one minute walk for your convenience. The heart of Brisbane city, Queen Street Mall, can be accessed via Southbank Parklands through the Performing Arts Centre, Museum and the State Library. If you feel like enjoying a spectacular city view, you could try climbing the Story Bridge or picnic on the beautiful Kangaroo Point Cliffs. All major Brisbane hospitals are within a 10 minute drive and we are located close to Brisbane city TAFEs and Universities. |

The Queensland Motel is located on the Southside of Brisbane CBD on the corner of Anglesey Street and Main Street. We are directly opposite McDonald’s. We are a 35 minute drive from the Airport, three minutes from the South East Freeway using the Vulture Street or Southbank exit. Taxi from Airport is approximately $38. Taxi from City is approximately $10. Taxi from Transit Centre is approximately $10. Shuttle bus from Airport is approximately $12 per person. The shuttle trip takes about 1 hour. |

We are conveniently situated within walking distance to the Gabba, home of the Brisbane Lions and Queensland Bulls. The heart of Brisbane city, Queen Street Mall, can be accessed via a short stroll through Southbank Parklands then Performing Arts Centre, Museum and the State Library. If you feel like enjoying a spectacular city view, you could try climbing the Story Bridge or picnic on the Beautiful Kangaroo Point Cliffs. All major Brisbane hospitals are within a 10 minute drive and we are located close to Brisbane city TAFEs and Universities. You could take a leisurely ride on the City Cat hopping on and off at numerous parks and walkways or take your bike and travel the cycle ways up and down the Brisbane River. |
