Direct flights operate to Koh Samui from Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong with Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways flys from Bangkok twice daily. Situated on Samui's north coast at Bang Po Beach, around 10 minutes by car south of the main Koh Samui ferry port at Nathon, and 25 minutes by car north of Samui airport, Panalee Resort is surrounded by peaceful hillside coconut groves that slope gently down to a quiet beach. Small local restaurants and shops line the coast and the village atmosphere makes this a real Samui getaway, especially compared with the island's busier beaches like Chaweng and Lamai, which are often crowded. Closer to Panalee Resort, Mae Nam is a popular tourist area with a variety of dining options and adventure activities available, while the island's capital, Nathon is just 10 minutes north and boast a wide choice of good value shopping outlets, as well as a post office, banks and travel agents. |

7 Minutes by car from The resort to Suntiburi Golf Club 5 Minutes by car from The resort to Maenum Market 5 Minutes by car from The resort to View Point Snorkeling,Diving,ATV, Elephant Trekking,Island Tour. Waterfalls Samui boasts a number of spectacular waterfalls, the biggest located towards the south of the island. Namuang 1 and Namuang 2 are the most popular falls and easily accessed from the main island ring road near Ban Saket. The water runs down the mountain all year, but the falls are most impressive just after the monsoon rains. Small shops and restaurants offer drinks and souveniers close to both waterfalls and you can also head up the hill on an elephant, which makes for some fabulous photos. A less visited waterfall, but equally spectacular is Hin Lad, just outside Nathon Town (10 minutes by road from Panalee Resort). At the base of HIn Lad Falls you can visit a peaceful and interesting example of a Thai forest temple. |
